What is there today
Placeholder pages. Nonconformance, CAPA, SCAR and FMEA appear in the navigation and have no behaviour behind them.
Corrective and preventive action
No records, no workflow, no reporting. Track quality processes outside PLM for now.
What the four are, for clarity
| Process | Answers |
|---|---|
| Nonconformance (NCR) | Something did not meet specification. What was it, and what did we do with it? |
| CAPA | Why did it happen, what did we change so it does not happen again, and did that work? |
| SCAR | The same question asked of a supplier, with their response recorded. |
| FMEA | What could fail, how badly, how likely, and what are we doing about the worst of it? |
What to do in the meantime
- Run nonconformance and CAPA as projects or work orders, so at least the actions have owners and dates.
- Keep FMEA where it already is. It is a document and a discipline more than a database.
- Record supplier issues against the supplier in Suppliers as notices, which is the nearest available record.
If you operate under a quality standard that requires documented nonconformance handling and corrective action with traceability, this module provides none of it. Tracking the actions elsewhere keeps the work moving; it does not make the system compliant.

Questions
Is quality on the roadmap?
It is in the navigation. There is no committed date.
Can we import quality history later?
Ask when it exists.
